Sunsational - San Juan Islands

The San Juans (as they are known here in the Northwest) comprise a small group of beautiful islands north of here and reachable by ferry service. Some of the prettiest sunsets in the entire Pacific Northwest can be found from the beaches of any number of these small islands. It's a wonderful area to be - the pace just seems slower. I'd love to live on a small island like one of these, but I'd have to win the lottery to do so. It's a bit pricey! PURCHASE HERE

"Tempo Della Raccolta" (Harvest Time)

I painted a companion piece to the named Ruby Beach After the Fog, and thought I'd post them both here together to show what a beautiful pairing they make. These are each 5 x5" on gallery wrapped canvas, so no frame needed, but can be used if desired. I'm happy to frame for you for a slight additional charge. I think they really make a nice statement, side by side. The fog settles in and stays til about noon, then it clears off so beautifully bathing the entire area in sunshine during the summer! Artist of the Month, City of Woodinville - Exhibit photos

After being named "Artist of the Month" for the city of Woodinville I was invited to display my work there. This building is one of the most dynamic pieces of architecture I've see in a long time. The angles of the building itself are quite unique, but the natural lighting is incredible, and for our area, that's saying a lot. These are the photos taken at the City Hall of Woodinville just after I hung the paintings for the exhibit. The larger ones are displayed in the lobby, and the miniatures are in the display case. Woodinville has become quite famous for its wineries over the years and it a 'must see' stop for many folks traveling through the area. It's one of the premier upscale communities of the Northwest. Unfortunately, I had to hold some of my work back for an art walk on June 21 in Edmonds (my second this year) so it was difficult to decide which to display where - but I came to a fair compromise, I think.
