"Sunrise at the Beach"
This is a 4" x 6" original oil seascape on gallery-wrapped canvas. No framing needed as the image is painted all the way around the sides.
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is wake at dawn when I've been camping out and wander down to the shore with camera in hand. Believe me, the camera can only capture a tiny portion of what the brush can. What I seek to show in my paintings of the sea is the 'feeling' that I remember. I loved the way the sun glistened on the water like tiny little diamonds. Want your own view at sunrise? You can have it, only $75 U.S. funds. Paypal accepted. Email PURCHASE HERE

You're so right that the brush can capture more than the lens! There is such a tension in photography that comes from the limitations of angle of view and depth of field and so forth. I've often said that I'd love to be able to draw or paint, but I can't, so I have to rely on the camera to do the translation for me. Your work is lovely; I'll be checking back.
Very best site. Keep working. Will return in the near future.
