Technorati Profile PacificNorthwestPaintings: "Fog At Ruby Beach - 12" x 16" Oil on canvas

"Fog At Ruby Beach - 12" x 16" Oil on canvas

The highway near Forks hugs the Pacific coastline and offers some of our area's most stunning views. This is our famous Ruby Beach. It offers a dramatic combination of bleached driftwood and rock formations knows as Seastacks. The entire scene is shrouded in the early morning fog that usually hangs around til afternoon. When the fog lifts, you can see as far as your imaginatino can take you.

A beautiful shot of a beautiful spot is what inspired this painting. Ruby Beach is one of the most visited on our coast. It's in the northernmost area of the coastline, near Mora campground just out of Forks, WA. Its sister beach is named Rialto Beach and is just to the south of this one.

This painting is not for sale at this time as it has been reserved for a show opening on June 21st. More info? Email me here.
